What is ESNK – Europa Schule Neu Kairo?
Europa Schule Neu Kairo (ESNK) is a vibrant private international school in New Cairo, offering a unique German-English bilingual education with Arabic as a third language. Established in 2016 in the Mivida compound alongside Emaar Misr, we provide a trilingual curriculum designed to develop curious, caring, and globally minded students. Our teaching combines the rigor of the German education system, the values of the IB learner profile, and the rich heritage of Egyptian culture. ESNK is proud to be a candidate school for the IB Diploma program.
What are the age and language requirements for admission??
By September 1st, applicants should meet these criteria:
• Baby Class: 3 years old — instruction available in German, English, or Arabic
• KG1: 4 years old — instruction available in German, English, or Arabic
• KG2 (Vorschule): 5 years old — requires proficiency in both German and English
- German: German Language, Sachkunde (Primary General Knowledge), Biology, Chemistry, History.
- English: Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Art.
- Arabic (as required): Arabic Language, Religion, Social Studies.

Which grades does ESNK offer?
For the 2025–2026 school year, we welcome students from Baby Class through Grade 9.

Can my child transfer from an English-speaking school to ESNK?
Absolutely! Transfers are welcome. However, children applying from KG2 upwards should have good proficiency in both German and English. We also provide German language courses to help students integrate smoothly. For more details, contact us at [email protected].
What does the admission assessment include?
• Kindergarten (KG): Age-appropriate general knowledge and skills are assessed.
• Grade 1 and above: Assessments cover English, Mathematics, German, and Arabic.
